Rafael Murillo,听AICP, WELL AP,听recently joined听the Denver office of听NBBJ as a Senior Campus Designer/Planner.听Previously, he was a Senior Planner and Associate with SmithGroup, focused on higher听education, prior to which he worked with SAR+ Architects, where he focused on mixed-use and urban environments. Earlier in his career, Murillo worked with the Seattle office of NBBJ as an听Experience听Designer.听He has completed projects for听Kansas State University,听Colorado State University, the University of Texas,听Idaho State University, and the University of California system. He听received his master鈥檚 degree in urban planning and landscape architecture from the University of Washington.
