Ann听Barolak, AIA, MBA, is the new听Education & Science Principal with the Philadelphia office of HDR. She brings听nearly two听decades of experience shaping higher education environments听鈥� as well as听expertise听in programming,听design听and client service听鈥� to the role.听
Barolak听has听led pursuit teams for听more than听150 projects ranging from science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) buildings and medical research spaces to libraries, student听housing听and campus support buildings. She听applies her passion for excellence across proposal development, client interviews, and sector-specific marketing efforts.听听
In this new role,听Barolak听will work to听strengthen relationships with colleges and universities across the Northeast.听She听is an active member of the Society for College and University Planning听and is also involved with听the Association of Higher Education Facilities Officers and the National Association of College and University Business Officers.听She was previously Vice President for the Philadelphia office of STV, prior to which she was a project executive at Page Southerland Page Inc.
