SEWELL, N.J.鈥擱owan University, located in the southern portion of New Jersey, is adding an entirely new medical training facility to its profile.
The Rowan Medicine Center鈥揅umberland will focus on the mental and physical health of families around South Jersey, specifically along the Route 55 corridor. Nearby Garrison Architects, which has already done work for the Rowan College of South Jersey medical program, will be designing this project as well. However, no contractor has yet been announced, according to an email sent to 91视频 from the university.
The two-story Rowan Medicine Center鈥揅umberland will contain over 17,000 square feet of educational and medical space. In addition to areas for medical students to practice working with patients, the new facility will focus heavily on addiction and recovery treatment. The facility will also host the Child Abuse Research Education and Service Institute (CARES).

Their partnership has led not only to a new model for higher education, but now is demonstrating how to bring much-needed specialized medical services to communities in need.鈥�

The Rowan Medicine Center’s Cumberland campus building will become a part of Rowan鈥檚 Route 55 鈥淓Ds, MEDs and Commerce Corridor.鈥�
