Moseley has namedÌý, a principal in the firm’s Charlotte office. Winebrenner joins theÌýÌýwith more than three decades of experience designing public schools and building successful architecture practices across the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast.Ìý

Winebrenner has spent much of his career as a K-12 practice leader. His work has included school projects grounded in community dialogue, along with long-range master planning that balances today’s needs with tomorrow’s flexibility. He has also opened and grown architecture offices, including an education studio that grew from six employees to more than 50 people across three Mid-Atlantic locations.Ìý

Winebrenner holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Arts inÌýfine artsÌýfrom the College of William & Mary. He is licensed to practice architecture in 15 states and the District of Columbia, holds NCARB certification, and is a LEED Accredited Professional. He is also a Recognized Education Facility Planner through the Association for Learning Environments.Ìý

On August 12, 2026, Moseley announcedÌý, AIA, has been named the firm’s first chief design officer, andÌý,ÌýAIA,Ìýhas been named leader of the K-12 education sector. The appointments reflect the firm’s commitment to design excellence and to developing the leadership necessary to sustain it across all sectors and offices.ÌýÌýÌý

HalseyÌýjoined Moseley’s Richmond office in 2007. Since being named K-12 education sector leader in 2021, he has expanded the firm’s reach across the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast, building a body of work recognized by the Virginia Association for Learning Environments, the Virginia School BoardsÌýAssociationÌýand others.Ìý

As a member of the firm’s board of directors, Halsey provides leadership and support to the firm’s design collaboration team, a cross-disciplinary group that brings together representatives from all six of the firm’s sectors to developÌýnew ideasÌýand raise design standards firmwide.ÌýIn addition to his responsibilities as the firm’s chief design officer, Stephen will continue to serve clients as a principal in the K-12 education sector.Ìý

Halsey holds a Bachelor of Environmental Design in Architecture and a Bachelor of Architecture from North Carolina State University’s College of Design. He served as president of theÌýÌýfrom 2018 to 2019.ÌýÌýÌý

Dennis joined Moseley’s Raleigh office in 2008. Over the course of her career with the firm, she has led her projects with close attention to what educators, administrators, facilities staff and students need from the spaces they occupy, and that orientation has defined both the quality of her work and the growth of the firm’s presence in the region. Under her management since 2017, the firm’s Raleigh office has grown exponentially: the staff size hasÌýdoubledÌýand the number of K-12 clients hasÌýnearly tripled. She was appointed to Moseley’s board of directors in 2023.Ìý

As K-12 education sector leader,ÌýDennis willÌýguide the firm’s team of principals across Virginia, North Carolina,ÌýSouth CarolinaÌýand Maryland, bringing to that role the relationships and judgment she has developed overÌýnearly twoÌýdecades of school design work.Ìý

Dennis holds a Bachelor of Environmental Design and a Bachelor of Architecture from North Carolina State University’s College of Design.
