The 5-foot x 40-feet membrane weighs less than 100 pounds and fits easily inside most service elevators. It is puncture and tear resistant, and utilizes hot melt adhesive technology to provide bond strength between the fleece backing and the membrane.

To eliminate installation equipment associated with larger rolls, the system has three portable adhesive options, including 5-gallon, cold-applied adhesive buckets; aqua-based adhesive in caulk-like tubes; and an adhesive set that comes with everything needed to install the FleeceBack system. The membranes are also available in 100- and 115-mm thicknesses and come standard with traditional or proprietary AFX fleece that inhibits asphalt bleed-through to the membrane.

Combining the look of tile with the functionality of metal, the product line uses an architectural coating system that provides solar reflectivity, allowing roof surfaces to stay cooler longer. Due to the product’s cooling properties, roofing surfaces should be less subject to chemical and atmospheric degradation, according to the company. The product line carries a 230+ mph wind rating and Class 4 rating for impact resistance.
