MSU to Debut New Athletic Facilities
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Missouri State University (MSU) in Springfield will reveal a new track and three synthetic turf fields in August. The project is part of a $24 million makeover to the campus’ athletic and recreation facilities.


WEST CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — Harvard University marked a significant construction milestone in mid May with the topping off of the Graduate School of Education’s (HGSE) Longfellow Hall renovation.
HARRISBURG, Pa. — Gov. Tom Corbett and Senator Joe Scarnati, R-Jefferson, have announced the award of $6.5 million in statewide school safety grants. The Pennsylvania lawmakers made the announcement at a May 6 press conference during which they discussed the importance of providing a safe learning environment for students.
LAKE MILLS, Wis. — Currently under construction, the new 95,000-square-foot Lake Mills Elementary School will seek LEED Silver certification with a the project design that features several sustainability initiatives as well as security measures that have become almost standard in today’s 21st century schools.
FT. KNOX, Ky. — Construction will begin next month on Kingsolver-Pierce Elementary School, a United States Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) 21st Century Education institution. The new school will replace and consolidate two older elementary schools, and will accommodate 635 students, grades PK-5.
SAN DIEGO — Construction on the newly renovated Storm and Nasatir Halls complex at San Diego State University (SDSU) was completed in time for the spring semester, with a grand opening celebration held on Feb. 21.
SAN MARCOS, Calif. — California State University San Marcos officially welcomed students to its new University Student Union (USU) on April 15, marking the end of a nearly two-year construction process.

MACOMB, Ill. — On April 23 Illinois Governor Pat Quinn announced the release of $60 million for the construction of a new 130,000-square-foot performing arts center on the Western Illinois University campus.
